Och läser man vad den andre kombattanten i den tidigare debattduon, Hoomar Anvari skriver på sin blogg förstår man att han har svårigheten att hålla isär Vilks, Sverigedemokraterna och antisemitism.
De båda har problem med att saken kan bli missförstådd – och har själva svårigheter med förståelsen. Omars uppräkning av de folkliga representanterna är en omsorg som uppifrån och neråt vilar över hela demokratin. En komplex debatt där det man ser inte nödvändigtvis är det man omedelbart tror, sådant blir komplicerat för den ovane. Men inte fullt så svårt är det för den intellektuelle och den halvintellektuelle. Uppdelningen är viktig eftersom den visar att en diskussionsgrupp som i bästa fall kan hålla en given nivå är något sammansatt. ”Halvintellektuell” definieras enligt min förläggare som den som kan läsa såväl Frantz Fanon och Giorgio Agamben som att finna glädje i bingospel.
Om ni tillåter (och det får ni väl göra) vill jag skjuta in ett intressant uttalande som min förläggare gjorde häromdagen. Han har förstått att dagens konst handlar om socialkritik och när vi språkade om detta menade han: ”Jag slås av att det är så stora ämnen som konsten tar i sig an. Det verkar inte som om någon av alla dessa konstbiennaler har ett tema om ändringar i våra pensionsförsäkringar.” Jag hade faktiskt aldrig tänkt i de banorna. Konsten tar alltid för sig av de stora och naturligtvis omöjliga frågorna. Som jag nämnde igår har Göteborgsbiennalen precis öppnat med temat ”Om politikens begränsningar och motståndets möjligheter”. Kanske en bättre publikkontakt och ökat inflytande kunde komma med temat: ”Om pensionsförsäkringens begränsningar och dess möjligheter”.
Nå, saken handlade om de hel- och halvintellektuella som inte tycks se någon annan möjlighet än att rekommendera ett politiskt korrekt uppträdande i officiellt tal och skrift – för det oförstående folkets skull. Strategin kan vara felaktig. Måhända är det bättre med ”Släpp åsikterna loss, det är vår!”
